Of course! Although we do advise against printed mugs. Especially if you want them to last a long time. Our suppliers do their utmost to keep the quality as high as possible, but it still wears down over time.
Unfortunately, we cannot determine that; this is really a matter of personal preference. For example, do you want a cup with a thick or a thin wall? Additionally, there is a choice of different materials such as porcelain, ceramic, or glass. Classic or modern.
For the best taste experience, we do recommend this! A cold cup ensures that your coffee cools down quickly.
This is of course dependent on the type of coffee you want to serve and how you prefer to drink it. There are standard sizes for example for an espresso, cappuccino, or Americano. But it is still a personal preference.
Certainly! For this, it is best to contact us via email at info@casabarista.nl. We are happy to assist you further through there.

Cappuccino cups from CasaBarista

For some people, the day cannot start without a cappuccino or another type of coffee, for others it is a treat for occasionally. Whatever the reason you drink cappuccinos and are looking for cappuccino cups, know that there are many reasons to serve coffee specialties in the right cups. A cappuccino is an Italian coffee variant originally from Vienna and is of course served in a cappuccino cup. Using a cappuccino cup is more important than you might think because it allows you to experience the best taste and aroma sensation of your cappuccino.

What is a cappuccino?

Originally, the cappuccino comes from Vienna, the capital of Austria. Although that has somewhat faded into obscurity, Vienna is still the coffee capital of Europe today. The cappuccino is a coffee variant which consists of equal parts espresso, milk, and milk foam or rather milk froth. For the enthusiast, you can sprinkle a little cinnamon or cocoa powder over the airy milk foam according to your own preference.

The tastiest cappuccino is of course served in a cappuccino cup, but before you can pour it, you first have to make it. First, froth 60 milliliters of milk and choose your favorite milk for this. You can froth milk by steaming or using a milk frother. It does not necessarily have to be cow's milk; you can also choose oat or soy milk. Then prepare 30 to 60 milliliters of espresso coffee, also according to your own choice. You can choose different types of roasts and grinds for this. Then add the milk foam to the espresso. The foam mixes nicely with the espresso if it has the right thickness. You could also say fluffy milk, velvety soft with a satin shine. Serve your prepared cappuccino in a cappuccino cup and enjoy all the flavors.

Why use a cappuccino cup?

If you want to drink a delicious cappuccino, you should also have cappuccino cups at home. Because a cappuccino without a cappuccino cup is less tasty. You might think it's nonsense, but for every coffee there is a special cup designed. This is done to ensure that the special properties come into their own perfectly.

When buying cappuccino cups, it is important to pay attention to a few things. The inside of the cappuccino cup must be evenly round in shape. This ensures that the foam layer resting on top of the cappuccino remains intact. There are cappuccino cups with a kink in the rim, but this can cause the foam layer to collapse. The use of porcelain as a material is also recommended. Porcelain retains heat longer than earthenware, so your coffee stays warm longer. The weight of the cappuccino cup is also important. A thicker cup is also a good choice to keep your coffee warm longer. But the eye also wants something, and it is important that you choose a glazed example that matches your tableware and interior. Therefore, it can sometimes be a difficult choice to purchase your cappuccino cups, but then you will benefit from them for years.

There are also cappuccino glasses on the market, but these are not directly recommended if you want to taste the refined flavor of your cappuccino. Glasses simply do not have the same properties as cappuccino cups, so the flavors, foam layer, and heat will not be as perfect as with cappuccino cups.

You buy your new cappuccino cups at CasaBarista

Are you looking for a new set of cappuccino cups? You can easily and quickly buy your new set at CasaBarista and also make the perfect cup of cappuccino at home with complete taste and aroma experience. The cups are designed to keep the crema layer as intact as possible and are also made of porcelain to ensure that you can enjoy a warm cup of coffee that does not cool down quickly.

You can choose from different types and brands at CasaBarista if you are looking for new cappuccino cups. For example, there is an XL variant from Rocket People in the colors white and grey, or the Rocket Cups XL version. The Italian brand Nuova Point also has professional cappuccino cups. And also consider Ancap cups. From the brand Bezzera, you can choose from the regular variant or the Large Cappuccino Cups. By supplementing your tableware with these cappuccino cups, you ensure that from now on you can enjoy your delicious cappuccino with total taste and aroma sensation.

Different sizes of cappuccino cups

It is a bit confusing, the difference between a Flat White cup and a Cappuccino cup. A flat white has a stronger (coffee) flavor because less milk and especially thick foam is used. With a Flat White, the better barista presents you with a nice figure (latte art). The Italian Flat White is often seen in the Netherlands as a regular cappuccino cup, while the large Italian cappuccino cup in the Netherlands is called a kind of XL cup, where you can more easily fit a larger Latte Art figure.

Fun facts about a cappuccino

There are many fun facts about the cappuccino to be found. Below you will find a few to enrich your life. For example, in Italy it is forbidden to order a cappuccino after 11 a.m. Coffee is seen there as the start of the day and not a drink you can consume all day long. The name of the cappuccino apparently goes back to the Capuchin monks whose espresso with milk color matches the color of their habit. And the frothed milk should never be warmer than 70 degrees Celsius, otherwise the milk boils and you get a bad taste.
